We’re not sisters by birth,
But we knew it from the start,
That fate put us together,
To be sisters by heart,
Oh the very special memories,
Like dressing up and pretending to be fairies,
Ever since day one,
It’s where it all begun,
It’s like when you first turn on a fan,
It starts out slow and then speeds up,
We were just like new pups,
Exploring the world one step at a time,
It was just one big climb,
And then it was time to say goodbye,
We both had tears running down our eyes,
But we both knew i had to go,
We really tried hard not to let those tears show,
We are now miles away,
But that is okay,
Because it doesn’t matter where we are,
Because we both know that we aren’t that far,
If you love someone so dearly they will never leave your heart,
Unless you cut that string that lets them depart.
