Despair

Accusations, rumor and innuendo,
It made me despair,
My honest denials,
You didn’t care.
My actions that morning,
Has brought me to shame,
A candle once lit,
Your tears killed the fame,
Reaching out from Mackay,
To reignite that flame,
Was a sleepless night,
Whispering your name.
Wrongful decisions,
Made in the past,
Your fragile heart,
I shattered like glass,
I want to hold you tight,
Have your heart once more,
Tell you “I Love You”,
Deb its you I adore.
