I tried to protect you,
Cant you see,
I lied to you so you would stay safe.

I told you that I didn’t love you,
I told you that you weren’t good enough for me,
I told you that I never wanted to see you again.

But how could you believe me,
After all we went through,
I hope that one day I’ll find out,
That I lied to you.
