You killed the spirit,
You killed the faith,
You have taken away the joy,
Good girl gone bad.
You have slaughtered like an animal,
Slit the throat of hope,
Stabbed the heart with the sharpest dagger,
Crushed dreams and goals.

You have taken fathers from their children,
Mothers from their children ,
From their duties,
Children from their homes,
Ignorance you have crushed homes,
Without any remorse, any sympathy,
Ignorance you have caused heartache,
Oceans full of tears,
Roads full of stones,
Beds full of thorns.

Ignorance the brother of fear,
False evidence appearing real.
