Today with You

Today is golden, today is bright,
Today is lovely even in my sight,
Today brings hope that gladdens the soul,
Today I’d think of a friend that I can hold,
You u u, that’s whom I know.

A drop of poetry

If a drop of poetry is found within my veins,
Then I’d use the tip of a pen to wrought wonders,
I’d write of the stars and of the lovely nature,
I’d scribble your love on the plaque of my heart,
And even forever on the sand of time.

I am Special

I am Special,
I have a heart of my own,
My feelings run as I wish,
My thoughts flow as a wave,
Without a need for you to direct,
I am who I am,
I am Special!

Your blood may be as red as mine,
But my DNA is solely for me,
My fingerprints, none can have
Even if your face looks like mine,
You really are never me,
I am who I am,
I am Special!

I may have some traits of my mother,
Even some from my father,
But am a clone of neither,
Am independent in character,
And responsible for all my actions,
I remain who I am,
I am Special.

I have my desires and dreams,
It might conflict with that of yours,
I care less for what you think,
Cos my thoughts are precious to me,
I am who I am,
I am Special!

I am framed for excellence,
Specially knitted from within,
Sometimes I may baffle you,
That’s just who I am,
I am Special,
And you are too
But I am unique!

Teacher

The four sided room,
Serves as a place were learner start to bloom,
In lessons we should be interested,
So that knowledge will be accurately imparted,

As roads are getting tougher,
We want to make our anxieties lighter,
Our low grade makes us feel behind,
Leaves us thinking; what is on our mind?

The finest mentor; we have indeed,
We were given everything we need,
Unconsciously we may feel them disappointed,
For our scores at times are unaccepted,

It is us who have something missing,
For forgiveness we were pleasing,
To thank them wouldn’t be enough,
Because we make their work more tough.

The instructors are the best media for learning,
The general objective is not just for earning,
We could see in your work your dedication,
Words are not enough to express our great appreciation.

With your smiles; makes us learner strives more harder,
With your thoughts; make our burdens lesser,
With your words; makes us learner a good listener,
But with your teachings; certainly makes our future more brighter.

All Alone

You sit there,
All alone,
Your memory fades,
You turn to stone.

Except for me,
Across a state line or two,
Everyone has forgotten,
Forgotten about you.

My Country

Britishers came, captured the golden bird,
But its children did not say a word.
The time passed, their empire got vast,
The golden bird cried shrieked with pain,
Now its children broke all their chains.
At last the Britishers decided to leave,
And the golden bird sighed in relief,
Now the country, the India took a re-birth,
And colors filled our world.
Leaders helped our India grow,
“Unity in Diversity” was the mantra-my country followed,
North, south, east, west are all the directions we know,
“India is One” – the whole world knows,
My country is great,
Its cultures we praise!!
My country comprises of 108 lords,
And still we haven’t forgot to respect the British lords,
My country is 5th to reach the moon,
I am sure that my country will be a developed country soon!
