Faint Glow of Hope

One can only serve the need of another by measure of heart,
All things to be have occurred, they are just not realized,
To have loved is to have touched the face of god and know his soul,
To not be loved, is to dwell in the faint glow of hope and know only tears.

My Mind’s Eye

My minds eye see’s only a mist of sorrow,
A sorrow so complete it stops the flow of thought,
I’ve tried to reach you and guide you back, But my efforts were futile and in vain,
The ebb and flow of sorrow strains my being, so much it pains to breath,
Where have I failed you, Where have you gone,
Tell me where you are so I can bring you back to that place in the sun we once shared,
Grey, cold and damp this mist of mystery and sorrow,
It surrounds me like a scabbard to dagger,
Three Chimes I hear, For whom does it ring,
The weighted breath of destiny has no sweet smell of promise, Only solice.
My minds eye weeps.
