Yes, You And Me

Yes, You And Me

No matter what I do,
I could never be with you,
The day will come,
When you will choose,

And I know,
That I will lose,
I can’t compete,
With the one you love,

Because to you,
She is like a dove,
Flying and Fluttering,
And moving so slow,
She is to you,
To be known as graceful,

We may be friends,
Yes you and me,
Forever we’ll be together,
But for you it’s different, than it is to me,

To you we’re just friends,
And that’s all we’ll ever be,
Because you just can’t see,
How close we are,
Yes you and me.
