“Don’t run, don’t jump, don’t leave.”
“Please, please don’t scream.”
I thought you would understand,
But my guess was unconfirmed.
Why can’t you take me?
Why can’t you hold me?
Why can’t you love me as I am?
You walked up just in time to
Catch my arm, my hand,
I had even hoped, my heart.
But you should have let me fall.
You should have let me go.
You shouldn’t have caught me at all.
The pain would be much less now.

Go to sleep, sweetdreams.
The morning’s going to bring
A brand new day.
Or so I thought.
For every new morning,
Is a addition to those
That I don’t have you.
Why can’t I convey my message to you?
Am I not being clear enough?
Or are you just not listening?

Follow your heart.
Set your mind to your desires.
What other lies are you
Going to feed me?
I wish I could have known
This is how it would be.
I wouldn’t have caught myself
In this mess.
But I did.
And now I’m stuck.

Isn’t it kind of funny how the
Best dreams I have,
Are those in which I am dying?
This is going nowhere.
My tears are overpouring,
My blood is thickening,
I wish I could drown my sorrow.
But then, there would be
No tomorrow.

I wish I could just be better,
Feel better, see better.
Not think such heart-wrenching things.
Do you see right through me?
Yes, my smiles are fake.
My tears are hidden.
But most of it is because your my
Biggest mistake.
A path in which should have
Veered off so long ago.
