You Were My Heart

You brought me hope, when I had none,
I thought you were my destiny, I thought you were the one.
And I don’t understand why we couldn’t be,
You seemed so perfect, you were everything to me.

You gave me love, when I had little,
I opened my heart to you, it was so brittle.
Each day thats passed, I’ve shed a tear,
I’m lost in love, without you here,

You were my heart, you will forever be,
Beautiful memories that will stay forever with me,
That day its coming, and I’m scared to cry,
I know I’ll be thinking of you, and once again ask why?’

    this is a great poem. it reminds me of this guy rodger i miss dearly.we broke up in april.i still miss and love him.this poem helped me remember the days i spent with him. thank you!

    i love this poem i loved a guy so much then i dumped him then he started to date my best friend but yesterday he broke up with her for me cuz i wanted him back but before he did that i asked one of my x-boy friends out and now i regret it cuz i loved james more than anything and i miss him thnkz for writing that poem now i know that the one that i wuz meant to live my life with wuz james thnks again.
